OKOMA SHOW “WHO IS TO BLAME”? THE STORY:
‘Who Is To Blame' is about real events happening in families today. This is a story of two families living together as one. Mr. Muhumi, the head of the house has two children Jammal and Kisha from a previous marriage. Muhumi remarries Darleen who also has a daughter from her previous marriage. Problems arise due to unforeseen circumstances whereby; Mr. Muhumi's children arrive from the United Sates.
Darleen despite being aware that Muhumi's children are coming, she goes out of the country on a business trip, which is extended due to frustrations at home.
Though Darleen isn't pleased with Muhumi's children Muhumi looks after Nalia and Darleen's nephew Danda who has just written his Malawi School Certificate of Education. Danda is given a car to sell in order to raise tuition fees for his further studiesabroad. In the event he turns out a trickster.
Nalia, Darleen's daughter finds herself involved in a love triangle with Moja, who is Muhumi's late friend's son. She engages into another secret love affair with Muhumi's son who has just arrived from the United States , Jammal. Eventually Nalia falls pregnant. In fear of rejection by Jammal and her family, she is put in a dilemma when she's to decide her fate.
Muhumi's house is full of conflicts. Was it wrong for Muhumi to accept his children back? Would it make a difference if these children were back in the U.S?
Despite Nalia's mistakes for falling pregnant, high risk of contracting STI's and breaking up a family, is she to blame for her intentions?
Was Darleen wrong in the first place for not welcoming Muhumi's children into the family? Was Muhumi to blame for wanting to help educate Danda? Or is Danda to blame for being reckless?
Is Moja to blame for planning to accumulate wealth from a man who trusted him and a paved way for his future?
The question remains the same “WHO IS TO BLAME”? You be the judge!
