Rules and Regulations
The Miss Malawi Pageant is not simply a beauty competition. Contestants must have a good facial and body structure, charm, good personality and ambassadorial qualities. These are attributes we expect of the winner of the Miss Malawi Pageant title who is expected to be a young lady of good character - she will be expected to travel throughout the country and is to portray glamorous and charitable personality for the crown. Equally important is the discipline and friendliness. She has to display in her conduct both public and privately and her determination to make the most of her talents. She should be capable of representing Malawi in every aspect during her reign.
Rules of Elgibility
- Must be a Malawian national or of Malawian descent
- Must be able to converse in English
- Must be between the age of 18 and must submit the application form with parents or guardians signature
- Must be of single status and must not have a child
- Must be of a minimum standing height of 1.60 metres
- Must have a minimum education qualification of the Malawi Schools Certificate of Education (MSCE) or it's equivalent
- Must be of good character and possess beauty or act that may be consistent with accepted standards of good public behaviour
- Must be willing to cooperate with directions given by the organizers (OKOMA PRODUCTIONS) of the Miss Malawi Beauty Pageant during the contest and any other related event and be available for public relations (PR) and charity work as required
- Must submit an application form in reasonable time before the Pageant (Two Weeks)
The Director and members of Okoma Productions reserve the right to disqualify any contestants entering the Pageant who do not meet the above requirements
